John and his wife, Margaret, have been married for 25 years and have four children, ages 12 through 18. They both live and work in the Edison Park community in the city of Chicago. 
John has a thriving law practice on Northwest Highway and Margaret is employed at St. Juliana School as a preschool teacher and administrative assistant. John was born in Chicago in 1959 to Mary and the late Tom Mulroe. Tom Sr. immigrated from Ireland in the 1949; Mary's parents also immigrated from Ireland. Mary and Tom raised 5 sons on the west side of Chicago, moved to Jefferson Park in the late 1970s, and retired to Edison Park. Margaret (Miller) is also a native of Chicago, having been raised on the northwest side and in Park Ridge. She is one of twelve siblings. |
