ballotThe Illinois General Primary election is March 20, 2012. We encourage everyone to vote early and avoid the possibility long lines and bad weather.

City of Chicago Residents

An added benefit to early voting for Chicago residents is they may vote at any early voting location -- not just the location dedicated for your ward. Chicago's Board of Elections can tell you everything you need to know if you're a city resident.

If you've recently moved or are newly registered, or don't know where your local polling place is located, check out this handy tool from the Board of Elections. Type in your address and it will identify your polling place, along with ADA accessibility information. You can also verify your registration status, too.

Suburban Residents

For suburban voters, Cook County Clerk David Orr has more information on his web site, including grace period registration and voting details for those that missed the standard registration deadline, as well as a polling place and registration status check.
